Arts & Entertainment Industries Management (AEIM) majors pair their creative passion with the business savvy needed

Learn the secrets behind successful production in small, hands-on classes. In addition to class projects, internships and co-ops, students gain valuable experience in producing and directing short films,
television programs, even as freshmen, by participating in student-run television and film clubs.
Acting for Film, Television and Theatre, B.F.A.
Rider University's B.F.A. in Acting for Film, Television, and Theatre prepares actors for the evolving entertainment industry. The program focuses on developing versatile, intelligent, and courageous actors who can succeed across various media—stage, film, web series, voice-over, and emerging forms of storytelling. Students gain a broad range of skills, including physical, intellectual, vocal, imaginative, and entrepreneurial abilities. The program emphasizes diversity and inclusion, aiming to dismantle systemic barriers in both the entertainment and education sectors.
It encourages students to find their unique voice and challenge traditional stereotypes, promoting an inclusive and forward-thinking approach to acting.
Theatre, B.A.
For over half a century, the theatre department at Rider has held a rich tradition of providing students with extensive training in the theatre arts. In addition to a full array of theatre coursework, six main-stage productions each year give students a wide variety of experiences and opportunities. As a theatre major at Rider, students have the choice of pursuing a musical theatre, design & technology or contemporary theatre practice track.
All three tracks allow you the ability to add a second major or minor.

Graphic Design, B.A.
Creativity sparks connection with the graphic design major. Through a blend of coursework and hands-on experience in digital studios and labs, students develop skills in the field of visual communication. The program prepares
them to successfully design graphics for branding, such as logos, and for websites and professional publications, such as brochures, magazines and newsletters.
Environmental Studies, B.A.
Rider’s environmental studies major is unique and interdisciplinary in nature. You’ll study the scientific, cultural,
political and social aspects of the interaction between human culture and the environment to prepare for dynamic careers solving diverse environmental challenges.
